A gatehouse has been uncovered throughout latest excavations at an historic mining camp in southern Israel. The constructing dates again to the 10th century B.C. and contains donkey stables. [Read the full story here]
The gatehouse was unearthed at a hilltop archaeological web site within the Timna Valley often called Slaves' Hill.
