A person is in police custody after the bomb squad needed to be referred to as to a block of flats over a suspicious bundle.

Sussex Police had been despatched to Belmont Shut in Hassocks, West Sussex, at round 9.30am on Saturday, the place they found a tool.

A 50-year-old man is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of creating an explosive substance.
