A lady has filmed the terrifying second a red-bellied black snake popped its head out from beneath the bonnet of her automobile whereas she was driving at 100km/h.

Sally Grundy, 48, was taking the hour drive from Adelaide to Mundoo Island Station in South Australia on Tuesday, when the snake slithered out from the engine.

After fearing the animal would someway get contained in the automobile, Ms Grundy determined to desert her automobile in a paddock on her property.

'It scared the dwelling daylights out of me,' she posted on Fb. 

'He stayed with us all the best way and couldn't be coaxed out of the engine effectively.

'I've left my automobile in the midst of a paddock and hope that he finds his approach out tonight. 

'Petrified would sum up my nervous state for the hour I needed to drive.'

Ms Grundy mentioned she hoped new automobiles did not have any gaps in them snake might transfer from the engine effectively into the inner part of the automobile.
