Sara Jacques, 46, of Fulwood, Preston, stole money from the varsity's pot of cash for varsity journeys and payroll, Preston Crown Courtroom heard.
She spent the cash, which she started gathering in 2011, on holidays and her money owed.
Jacques admitted 4 counts of theft and two of fraud and sobbed as she was jailed for 20 months.
