A shocked passenger took from his airplane window seat of a mysterious pole 5,000ft within the air as he flew into Bristol Airport yesterday.
The unnamed man was flying on a Ryanair Boeing 737 from Malaga when he seemed out of the window and noticed what gave the impression to be a levitating rod at about 11am.
He claimed to have used flight mapper data to ascertain he was four,650ft within the air on the time and posted a weird image of the pole on Imgur.

Some Reddit customers have speculated that the pole was the 961ft mast from the close by Mendip Transmitting Station on the summit of Pen Hill in Somerset.
In the meantime different commenters advised the photograph confirmed a scratch on the airplane window and one joked that it may very well be 'the extension twine for the moon'.
