A hero father has given his teenage son the final word Christmas current, after donating him a kidney.
Lou Lawson, 40, underwent the operation after he efficiently matched as a donor for his son, Joseph, who's 17-years-old.
Joseph has suffered from Alport Syndrome - a genetic situation which causes kidney illness - since he was three.
Within the final two years his situation had deteriorated and he wanted dialysis.
After Lou stepped forwards to donate certainly one of his kidneys, he instructed his son 'that is it for Christmas.'
