Eager photographer Alan couldn't resist the urge to get a snap of the bugs' behaviour.
Father-of-one Alan, from Worcester, stated: 'We wish to go strolling by the hills and on that day there have been some hand gliders launching off so we have been heading as much as Worcester Beacon for a greater view.
'However on the way in which we noticed all these bees congregating on the bottom - I could not consider my eyes.

'I don't know what they have been doing there on the bottom. The best way they have been transferring was like watching birds congregating earlier than flying south.
